Damaged Shipments
In the event that your package arrives damaged and the product inside is also damaged or missing, make sure to take photos of the damaged package and report it to the delivery driver if possible. You will need to file a claim with the carrier for this type of issue. These issues tend to be time sensitive in regards to resolving them so act promptly. We will work with you to reorder the damaged goods so please contact us at support@thinkvp.com for customer support.
Returns and Exchanges
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in new condition, unused and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt / proof of purchase from Vantage Point Marine or an Authorized Reseller. If you need to return or exchange product for any reason, contact us at support@thinkvp.com to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number before sending product back. There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned goods and the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned i.e. custom products, special order items, sale items or discontinued items purchased at close out prices. If you have a question regarding the eligibility of a specific item, contact us at support@thinkvp.com or call (562) 755-1425.
European Union 14 day Cooling off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt / proof of purchase from Vantage Point Marine or an Authorized Reseller.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@thinkvp.com.
